"NOT" Meant for each other!

So? My so-called-love!
Look what happened!
We lost each other!
Cause for sure, we were not meant for each other!

I knew this day would come...
Do you believe in all that?
You know those strong feelings, i felt them from the day one,
Still, I don't know why I went ahead ; Cause you know its always fun...

To desire "those stuff" you fear the most and take up impossible things!
And then it was all started, that sweet name popping up on the screen with lovely tring trings!

There was something in you, still is,
that forced me to get into this!
The very first meeting of ours,
I don't know about you but I will always remember it and will do miss!

We talked,
we argued,
we loved,
we kissed,
our love flashed,
our thoughts clashed,
And just like that time flew!
You gave your level best,
And dear you will have to appreciate my efforts too!

Because it wasn't easy for me to go beyond my limits and destroy my inner peace!
I was crazy, doing things for you, trying to please!

Trust me, those times weren't easy,
I was struggling from deep inside!
But I want you to know that i tried!

You didnt even ask me if everything was okay,
I was passing my time, becoming more quiet day by day!
Praying, Hoping that you would realise,
the value of our love and would one day come out of the worldly lies!

But you didn't and the evening you showed up,
Saucer was no more a part of the cup!

We could say your expectations differed from mine,
And mine from yours!
We couldn't fulfill each other and therefore lost!
And today, are paying a huge cost!

How did we get this far?
Without even crossing mountains and coast?
For all those months of love, shall we cheer up and raise a toast?

"Unrequited love" is what they say,
What would u call? Love quitted?

EVOLVING...

I was the happiest person on the earth,
I felt as if my soul had given a new birth.

Yes, somewhere you were the sole reason of the season.

With you, I always longed to fly high in love, attain eternity and remain in that heavenly bliss,
But everytime, you sealed all my desires with a kiss!

I couldn't utter a word, I couldn't scream...
That was the time it became extreme.

Some power was pulling me down, though I tried to lift myself up with all my might.
I FAILED! I was forcefully being pushed down to earth from my part flight!

I was tempted and served with those delicious dishes dipped in carnal love,
And when I denied to taste them, I was pushed aside with a label 'A Narrowminded Dove'.

 I accept what you don't accept in me: my imperfections, my flaws, my being in mess.
Let me release my hair,
Its my castle,
And let me be the princess!

May be we have changed…

My love,
It's been quite a few days,
We have changed in many ways.
I can feel it. It's true.
I noticed, did you too?

We don’t care about each other, like we used to do.
We do not talk anymore, like we used to do.
We don’t miss each other like we used to do.
We don’t even say those three magical words to each other.
And when we do, we don’t actually mean it.
They are just meaningless words for us. The person who used to make me feel that I was the one he wanted. The guy I loved is somewhere lost.
The girl who used to giggle after his every line, her mood used to cheer up whenever he called, he was her everything, but now her smile is gone somewhere.
Didn’t I give you enough? Didn’t I love you enough? Somewhere my love for you has failed.
I remember we made promises. We shouldn’t have done that, because we couldn’t keep them.
Look at me and I’ll look at you, let us be true to ourselves. Because may be we have changed. 

WE BROKE UP..

We broke up.
Yes, we are finally apart.
Now, I wonder why I was with you,
Why I wrote those letters?
Made those cards which I didn't want to!
Yes, I broke your heart…
Because I knew we’re not meant for each other!
It was your first love I know, 
But it wasn’t mine,
Though it hurts in hurting someone…
With whom you were together for some time,
It was all a pretension.
I have forgotten you,
But your card “To my dearly loved” 
Reminds me of your childishness,
Ever I wanted to tell you was
I never loved you,
Rather I loved the way you loved me,
That was the sole reason 
We were together,
I was playing with your feelings?
No..
I did it for you,
To see you happy,
To give you those sweet moments,
To make you feel dependent,
To give you the feeling of being loved by someone you loved!
Surely, it wasn’t love from my side,
But may be similar to it,
Fortunately and unfortunately too,
I then realized, 
I did the wrong thing with you and with me too,
Better we parted from pretending as one,
To different two.

MOUNT (N) VIEW….

I’m hovering in the air just like a cloud,
Watching everyone present in the crowd.

That one glance when you realize how beautiful is nature,
In making our lives jubilant, they have a huge stature.

There is life in it, as someone said,
“the poetry of earth is never dead.”

Birds chirping in the trees,
Flowers have blossom with a fresh breeze.

Animals roaming in search of food,
Rivers flowing in their happy mood.

They all look happy and merry,
A glimpse of it make me feel cheery.

Spare some time, show some love,
Experience rain from close,
Step into the water, close your eyes,
Feel the drops, and pose.

Trust me, they will vanish… all your worries and pain,
But don’t let the beauty of nature go in vain.

Nature love is something from which u can’t run away,
Lets flow in their flow and follow their way.

The farther mountains are calling me and I must go,
I can hear their shout out and rising echo.

THE MEANING OF LOVE…

Mother- most precious among all the given gifts,
She is the one who lifts.

One who has given us birth,
Still we don’t know her real worth.

She feeds the kids and gets them ready,
Looking after their books, toys and teddy.

Everyday she works for us from dawn,
A friend supporting us since the time we are born.

‘Our happiness’ is their real treasure,
For them,  taking care of us is a pleasure.

She is the first one in the family to wake up,
Breakfast is ready, but she never bothers about her makeup.

To make others happy, she gives her best,
And whole heartedly welcomes every guest.

For her, what all have we done?
Just given orders and had made fun?

Who  will think about our mother?
Who has always thought of the welfare of others.

To make her proud of  us, kindly celebrate mothers day,
At least for a day , work for her, that’s all I want to say.

I just pray to god, to keep her fine,
With the blessings of him, she should always shine.

POETRY… TAKE ME AWAY!

Take me away,
far away…..
To a beautiful place where everything is pretty,
To a world of dreams and serenity.
To those things I adorn…
To the place I belong,
 Somewhere….
Where  I can be free,
 I can be me.
Where there is no sorrow,
And no fear of any tomorrow,
Take me away, far away.

Take me away along with you.
Coz with you, I can paint sketches of my life,
With you, I can cry recalling my own struggles.
 With you, I can laugh loudly and express my irrational joy.
With you, I can show how it feels to be delighted.
With you, I can display how the world looks like when I am on the verge of drowning in the sea of sadness.
With you, I’m expressible.
With you, I’m myself!
The thoughts whirling in my mind that I feel are not worth it.
With you, they come into limelight.
With you, I learn the actual way of living life,
With you, I find ways for myself.
You have rhythm, you have beat.
You make me think about…
The people I meet.  
You give the wings to my soul,
And show me the ways to reach my goal.
So, come and take me along..

He never quite knew....

"Hey-----------
He was a nice guy"
Everyone would say
But i couldnt lie,
With me, him or our life
So, I  with a knife stabbed both of our hearts
And broke it into many parts
I was betraying him.
And he wasnt knowing that
Between us everything was dim.
No light, no hope.
Surely this wasn't love?
Nope...

It was he, his sincerity,
who forced me to get into that
Messy thing.

And oh.. I fell,
I fell from a great height,
Deep into that ocean
of 'so called love'!
I fell for him.... in the trap,
And did things which were crap!
People thought, we were together,
No, we're in a rudderless ship
Moving directionless,
In that ocean of
Puzzles, questions, and mess!

Money isn't Everything!!

He was a rich pandit, with a long beard,
Who was egoistic, selfish, mean, and quite weird.
One morning, someone knocked at his door,
The man became furious and there came the thunder of roar!

‘’Who the hell is outside there?’’
Standing was an old man who looked fair,
Serene, patient and was dressed in white,
With bare feet, his eyes shining bright.

‘’My child, a small piece of bread will make my day!’’
Filled with anger, the pandit yelled ‘’No way!’’
‘’There is no mercy for you people inside me,
I have to help those who can’t walk, hear, speak and see.’’

The old man said nothing, just smiled and went,
The pandit couldn’t get what that meant.
For a week, the pundits’ wife remained ill,
The effect of those costly medicines was just nil.

The pandit kept worshipping his God, each and everyday,
No meaning was left in his wealth and he had nothing to say.
Other day at the door was standing an old lady,
Wrinkled face, ragged clothes which had turned ragged and shady.

With great difficulty, the pundits’ wife went inside and brought some bread, Gave them to that old lady who further said,
‘’Thanks my child, you are of the blessings which the lord has sent.
The wife knew what she meant and as a sign of respect, she bent.
Soon his wife recovered, she understood the law of life,
She became determined to fight with every strife.
But the pandit was same as he was earlier,
He didn’t try to understand his wife and wasn’t ready to hear.

 In the market, he caught sight of the same old man praying to the sun,
In front of everyone, he insulted him and made fun.
He shouted at him,’’ You are the one who spoiled my wife’s health,
The reason is you are jealous of my wealth.’’
‘’I’m the richest of all & I’ll not help you in any way,
Among these poor, who will make your day?’’
He was gone but those harsh words made everyone’s heart to break.
His wife pleaded to that old man to pardon him for his mistake.

The old man said nothing, just gave a smile,
She prayed to the God and closed her eyes for a while.
She knew her husband will soon realize,
And will be out of this web of egoism, selfishness and lies.  

The next day, his wife was inside when the house caught fire,
The pandit was screaming, asking for help, but there was no help which he could hire.
He cried a lot and requested that old man,
‘’Please save my wife, she’s my real wealth, do whatever you can.’’

The villagers offered their help and the fire was seized,
Soon, the pundit’s wife was released.
He left his egoism, realized his mistake,
He promised himself to be kind and not to be fake.

He was happy to see his wife alive and secure,
Wealth was proven useless when it was the time to cure,
He asked for forgiveness from the old man,
And promised to help everyone in every way he can.

Hello Stranger?

You make me sad,
You make me cry,
You make me laugh,
You make me smile....
But then... I'm stuck somewhere for a while!
There's quietude, calmness... and silence?
With you I'm carefree but still I'm tense!
That I'm making you my habit,
My 'used to' thing;
I have to get over with it, it'll take time,
As they say Time heals everything!
There are differences, we can't be together,
Because relationships are a mess,
So friendships are better!
They are short lived and I don't want them to be.
I'm lookin' for a journey endless...
So that it's 'ALL CLEAR, NO MESS'!
